Shop around!  Or even better, let us do it for you for free!  We’ll save you time and money by searching hundreds of providers to make sure that we find you the best deal for your requirements, whether you are looking for cover for you, your family or your business.

Chronic conditions are long lasting in their effects and as a result some health insurance providers may only be able to cover the tests and initial treatment for chronic conditions and diseases. If you think that you may have a chronic condition, speak to us so that we can make sure that you are aware of any options available to you.

A pre-existing condition is classed as an injury or illness that existed before you took out a health insurance policy. Depending on how long you have had the condition for and its severity, individual insurance companies may still be able to offer you private health insurance.   Speak to us about this so that we can make sure that you are aware of any options available to you.

Taking part in sports can often lead to injury.  However, our knowledge of the health insurance industry means that we can point you in the right direction of the most specialist providers of health insurance for people who participate in sports, to make sure that you receive the best deal and the best cover.

Cancer cover is offered by a range of health insurance specialists.  Typically, cancer cover features private health insurance which covers the cost of support, tests, drugs and treatment.

In some cases, cover will include palliative care.  If you would like this to be included in your policy speak to us and we can let you know which health insurance policies will provide this.

Many of the health insurance providers that we work with have access to multiple hospitals within each region.  This means that you can often request where you are seen for diagnosis and treatment, as well as having more flexibility with the dates and times that you are seen.

If you wish to make a change to your existing policy through your existing provider, contact us and we’ll sort this out for you.  If you wish to change provider, then we can usually arrange for this with no interruption to your health insurance plan, so that you aren’t left without cover even for a short time.

In most cases, making a claim on your health insurance will not increase your premium.  Some of the health insurance providers we work offer no claims discounts.  These work in a similar way to car insurance, where you receive a discount following not having made a claim on your health insurance, usually over the period of a year.

In most cases, if you are within the cooling off period of beginning a new policy (usually 14 days from when your cover begins) you will be entitled to a refund for money that you have paid, excluding a deduction for the time that you have been covered.

A refund is also usually given for the time that you have not yet been covered for, if you cancel your policy before it comes to an end or before your renewal date.  In some cases an administration charge will apply to process your cancellation.
